Onion Mirchi Bajji


Bajji Mirchi – 1/4 kg

Besan – 2 cups

Rice flour – 1/2 cup

Baking Soda – 1 tbsp
Oregano / Ajwain Seeds – 1 Tbsp

Onions – 3

Corriander Leaves – 1 cup

Chat Masala – 1 tbsp

Amchur – 2 tbsp

Grated Carrot – 4 tbsp

Mix Basen, Rice flour with baking soda and Ajwain seeds. Add salt to taste and prepare a smooth batter. Keep aside

Cut onions to small pieces. Add salt, chat masala, corriender leaves and grated carrot. Mix well.

Cut the Mirch from one side and deseed them.
Fill each of the chillies with the onion stuffing.
Dip each mirch in the batter and deep fry in oil.
